The panel I’m painting for the Rivertown Arts Council display (that has to be done in <9 days) was delivered yesterday: landscape, not portrait. So, the Okra Flower sketch will be back-burnered and this, Ama Anchorage, goes on the panel.
Ama Anchorage is in the stretch of river, on the far bank of the Mississippi, near Rivertown. It is spectacular to see when full of ships, all tugging against their anchor chains in response to wind and river current.
come out to the Italian Fest, April 1-3, and see this, and other work by local artists. And hey, eat some really good food, too!
