OPPORTUNITY FOR ARTISTS: Brush With Burden 2017 National Art Exhibition

The 2017 Brush With Burden is a “Juror and Judge Art/Photography” show. This is the 7th year for this event which a fundraiser for the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden which is situated on 440 acres of beautiful green space in the heart of Baton Rouge.
This show is open to all U.S. residents 17 years of age and older and to all art media except video and film. Works must be original, must have been produced in the past three years. The call for entries for the 2017 Brush With Burden is currently open now until January 20, 2017. All entries are conducted online at “CallforEntry.org”. The cost for entry is $20 for one entry and $15 for each additional entry (up to six entries).
The Judges for the 2017 Art Show is Marc Chatov (Top 8th Portrait Painter). The Judges for the 2017 Photography show are Linda Medine (Retired Professional Wedding Photographer); C.C. Lockwood (Wildlife Photographer) and David Humphreys (Artist and Photographer).
On February 17, 2017 all artists and photographers will be notified of those selected for display. All selected entries will be submitted on March 8, 2017 suitably framed and wired for hanging. Then on March 11-19th, the art show will be held at The LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden’s Orangerie and Conference Center. There the Awards and Ribbons will be awarded.

Exhibition, March 13 – 20, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m
Sundays and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. weekdays and Saturday.
$20 Entry Fee for one entry and $15 for each additional entries (6 Max)
