During the early days of the pandemic the Mississippi River Levee bike trail behind our house filled up with people trying to beat the boredom by getting outside. It was great to see: families out together, no special bike gear, inexpensive bikes…but people were enjoying themselves. During that time I saw this girl ride by. She was so confident and happy that I knew that I would paint her.”Riding Pretty”, 9×12″ acrylic on gessoboard ©2021 Cheri’ Ben-Iesau Design, LLC. She’ll be at Ariodante Contemporary during my June 2021 exhibit.
